Mamiamazing BLOG SPOT
Mamiamazing Blog Spot is a place where women and young women are able to come together to support each other, feed off of each other and encourage one another. The highlights of the Blog is "girrrrrl" talk where fashion, fitness, hair, makeup, relationship tips and advice, and everyday tid bits are discussed. A great amount of vlogging would take place and there would be a forum where subscribers would be allowed to upload and share their videos/tutorials. It's a place where women are able to vent and unwind about whatever is on their mind, all while being able to enjoy the company of other women that may be having the same experiences. The brand MAMIAMAZING represents that woman that is truly amazing, the idea is to encourage every woman to feel AMAZING not only about themselves but about whatever it is they do. The target market is women between the age of 16-55, single, in a relationship, married, divorced etc. These women would have interest in connecting with like minded individuals and reading about their stories/experiences online as they could relate. The Blogs values are strength in womanhood, emphasizing the “do you” gene, to empower and encourage young women; overall promotion of authenticity. The brands personality is artistic, edgy and sassy, I want every woman to leave to Blog feeling as though they are that AMAZING MAMI with just the right amount of attitude.
For the design choices I went with all caps, copperplate font, salmon color text with a maroon shadow for "MAMIAMAZING." For "BLOG SPOT" I chose a smaller font in copperplate, the color steel with a strike through in caps. For the logo I chose to go with a typography logo in a salmon color, Helvetica font, all caps and a black line drawn overlay on some of the letters. The logo represents the edgy portion of the brand all while bringing face to the message within the logo. As you look at it the fist "i" has no overlay separating the "mam" from MAMI therefore from a short distance the eye picks up "IAMAZING" which initially means I'm Amazing or I Am Amazing. It's a creative way to distinguish the brand while sending a message at the same time. Essentially it's an affirmation that the brand represents.
